The facility can house up to 207 inmates and has room for future expansion that could double its capacity. The jail employs 33 full-time and 12 part-time detention deputies and jailers.
Meals are prepared by Trinity Services Group, LLC under a contracted food service agreement. Medical care includes a nurse on duty 10 hours a day, seven days a week, with doctors on call for emergencies. Missouri's Sunshine Law under Section 610.011 RSMo says public records are presumed open. The Cole County jail roster is a public record.
